‘This Country’ Ghost Hunt – Warmely Clock Tower, Bristol
Date: Saturday 5th September 2020
Join the Ghostly Goings On team and the legendary Paul Cooper, from BBC Three’s award winning show ‘This Country’, for a night of ghost hunting at Warmley Clock Tower in Bristol, this June.
This is your chance to combine your two favourite things; Ghost hunting and This Country! Where else can you investigate the weird world of the paranormal alongside the original peeper that is Martin Mucklowe?
All proceeds from this event will be donated to a new mental health football group in Cirencester and Stroud, of which Paul is heavily involved in.
Warmley Clock Tower itself is an imposing and dark building which boasts a plethora of ghostly tales.
Over the years visitors to Warmley Clock Tower have reported hearing the sound of children playing and laughing, along with disembodied footsteps and voices whilst the building has been empty.
Sudden cold blasts of air have been felt by past investigators as well as the sound of slamming doors coming from empty corridors.
This is your opportunity to spend six hours inside this impressive building investigating its paranormal activity and exploring the many rooms set out over three foreboding floors.
Warmley clock tower is a former pin factory and was built in 1743 as part of William Champion’s Warmley Brass Works.
Working conditions within the factory would of been harsh for men, women and children.
This impressive three storey building is built of rubble with black slag quoins. The main part of the building has a hipped pantiled roof.
This listed building now serves as a community centre.
Reported Paranormal Activity:
Dark shadows have been seen darting from room to room, along with the sound of people talking when no other visitors have been present within the building.
But perhaps the most common report of paranormal activity is that of the sound of children running around, laughing and playing.
Working conditions would have been harsh during its time as a factory which would have resulted in many people being mistreated and ‘worked to death’.
Are these very souls responsible for the reported hauntings of Warmley Clock Tower in this present day?
