39 De Grey Street, Hull
Date: Saturday 23rd May 2020
39 De Grey Street, Hull, is described by many as the ‘UK’s most haunted home’, with previous tenants fleeing and refusing to sleep another night inside.
A menacing, evil presence is said to be responsible for dragging a young women from her bed and for holding a man up against a wall by it’s unseen hands.
With furniture moving seemingly of it’s own accord to the sounds of a menacing growling, this place really does seem to be a ghost hunters paradise.
But, is 39 De Grey Street really as terrifying as it’s being proclaimed? The team certainly thinks it is.
39 De Grey Street is a seven bed-roomed property in Hull which has stood empty for just over a decade and is slowly decaying away from it’s former glory.
Little is documented about the actual history of the house itself, however during many visits by the Ghostly Goings On team and other paranormal groups, the same indistinct presence seems to make itself known who could perhaps be a previous tenant.
Past investigations have seen tales of heartbreak and maltreatment told of in abundance and the owners collection of haunted antiques certainly seem to be a hot spot of paranormal activity.
Reported paranormal activity
Many previous tenants of the house have spoken of their absolute fear and dread of even stepping foot back inside.
Even the UK’s media have got involved, with many reporting on their experiences during overnight stays.
Reports include furniture being thrown, knives ‘balancing’ upon a draining board, and the sounds of a loud, menacing growl along with the sound of a child’s laughter and cries.
Our previous investigations inside 39 De Grey Street have proven to be intense and frightening, with poltergeist activity witnessed on several occasions. These include a dolls crib swinging by itself, loud bangs and knocking coming from within the kitchen and a large, heavy table being moved across the room during a table tipping experiment.
